MYRTLE B. SNOW IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Myrtle Browning Snow, 85, of Shelley, died July 5, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of congestive heart failure. She was born August 25, 1917, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Emil Abile Browning and Ida Rosetta Jensen Browning. She grew up in the Rexburg area and attended schools there. She earned her teaching certificate from the Ricks Academy. She married Ernest Albert Snow August 21, 1953. in Las Vegas, Nevada and their marriage was solemnized August 27, 1971, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Over the years she has lived in Lynwood, California, Salt Lake City, Utah, Idaho Falls, and Shelley, Idaho. She was a homemaker and mother. In her early years she taught school, then later was a secretary at Hill Air Force Base and at the University of Utah Medical Center. Her husband passed away June 22, 1958. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in numerous church callings, including a full-time mission to Canada. She was an Accomplished violinist and pianist and was a great cook. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was always doing things for others. Surviving are: Son: Steven [Cindy] Snow, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Debbie [Mike] Clayton, Shelley, ID Daughter: Soni [Del] Nipper, Grapeview, WA Sister: Vera Isom, Salt Lake City, UT Sister: Zola Averett, Federal Way, WA Sister: Betty Browning, Ucon, ID 10 Grandchildren & 5 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Lloyd Browning, and a sister, Norma Davis. Graveside Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery, with Dale Clayton, officiating.
