Morrison Wayne Lambert Clark, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away on September 5, 2012, at his home. He was born July 14, 1937, in Eagle Rock (Idaho Falls), Idaho to Wayne Morrison Clark and Ellen Harriett Lambert. He attended both elementary and high school in Idaho Falls. At age17, Morrison volunteered for the U.S. Navy. During his tour to Vietnam, he received a National Defense Service Medal, a Vietnam Service Medal, and a Vietnam Campaign Medal. While serving in the military, he worked as a Boiler Technician, Engine Man, and Certified Fireman. Morrison Clark retired as a Navy Chief after 20 years of service and also received a Meritorious Unit Commendation Award, and four Good Conduct Medals. Upon completion of his Naval career he became a Merchant Seaman and continued to serve his country under the Defense Department as a United States Navy Civil Service Ship’s Officer for 17 years. He was lovingly known to his fellow sailors and friends as “Charlie Tuna” throughout the Pacific and lived the good life of a sailor. He was married in the Philippines to Perlita Juson Urbano. They produced 3 wonderful children and divorced after 30 years. Survivors are: Son: Wayne Clark, Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter: Angel Clark, El Paso, TX; Daughter: Jennifer Clark, Idaho Falls, ID; Brother: Mike Bowcutt; Sister: Bessie Peterson; Sister: Sharon Finstad; and three grandchildren: Tahlia, Liliana, Cheyanne.
