Morris Duncan, 97, of Idaho Falls, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 6, 1914, in Ferron, Utah, to George Duncan and Eugenia McDonald Duncan. He grew up in Ferron and graduated from Emery High School. He continued his education at Ricks College, where he earned as Associate’s Degree in Business. Later he attended Idaho State University, where he earned an Associates Degree as an Auto Body Technician.
Morris served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked as a body and fender technician for Smith - Hart Chevrolet, Snake River Equipment, and Imperial Motors. During this time he was chosen as the Auto Body Tech of the year three years in a row. In 1956, he started Duncan Body Shop, which he owned and operated until his retirement in 1977. He also taught body and fender classes at Bonneville High School from 1969 to 1987.
He married Rhea Mae Wilson December 31, 1936, and they were later sealed on December 2, 1953, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Together they raised three children. Rhea passed away in December, 1968.
On July 15, 1969, Morris married Lola Alleyne Gneiting Klingler in Idaho Falls. Lola passed away February 9, 2012.
Morris was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings throughout his life, including serving with Lola in the Holbrook Mission. He enjoyed all sports, as well as fishing, hunting, and snow plane racing.

Stepson: DelMar (Ilene) Klingler of Menan, ID;
Stepdaughter: Marva (Eugene) Call of Spanish Fork, UT;
Stepdaughter: Cris (Alan) Ginkel of Idaho Falls, ID;
Stepdaughter: Ann Dalley of Idaho Falls, ID;
Brother: Everett (Nola) Duncan of Pleasant Grove, UT; and
30 Grandchildren, 72 Great grandchildren, & 13 Great Great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his wives, Rhea and Lola; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Max Jackman; brothers, Leland Duncan, Orsen Duncan, Lew Duncan, and Mervin Duncan; and a sister, Jean Duncan.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012, at the Ucon LDS Stake Center, 2967 East 105 North, with Bishop Jon Holst of the Ucon LDS Yellowstone Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
