Mona Fay Huls Rhudy, 63, of Ammon, Idaho, passed away Monday, January 9, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Mona was born October 8, 1948, in American Falls, Idaho, to William John Huls and Fay Pierce Huls. She grew up in Aberdeen and graduated from Aberdeen High School, then continued her education at Idaho State University and Ricks College.
On April 26, 1968, she married John Wesley Rhudy in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Together they raised four children. She was a mother and a homemaker and also worked as an insurance agent for Farmers Insurance.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mona served as ward chorister for 16 years and was an ordinance worker in the Idaho Falls Temple. She enjoyed reading, gardening, crocheting, pottery, computer games, and being with her family, friends and particularly her grandkids.

Brothers, Tom (Nancy) Huls of Pocatello, ID;
Lon (Kathy) Huls of Idaho Falls, ID;
Ted (Carol) Huls of Yakima, WA; and
Sister, Bavia (Steve) Huls-Gibson of Rupert, ID.
8 Grandchildren: Craig, Derek, Trey, Jade, Adam, Tyler, Carter, & Marcus
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Huls.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 13, 2012, at the Ammon LDS 8th Ward, 2055 South Ammon Road, with Bishop Allen Lundeen officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 South Ammon Road) and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
