Molli Ann Kroll Gunther passed away peacefully Thursday, November 10, 2016, while at her home. Molli was 61 years young. Molli was born April 3, 1955, to Nina Elithe and Darwin Raymond Kroll at the old Sacred Heart Hospital in Idaho Falls. She grew up in Idaho Falls with her four sisters: Teri, Marti, Dana and Traci. She attended O.E. Bell Junior High and graduated in 1973 from Skyline High School. Later, Molli moved to Washington, then South Carolina, and came to spend the majority of her life in Longmont, Colorado. When it came to family, Molli was truly blessed. From her first marriage to Dan Ruddell, Molli had two daughters, Brigette Dawn and Ashlee Monique. She later married her high school sweetheart, Craig Gunther, during which she had a third daughter, Emily Paige. Her three daughters brought the real joy to her life by giving her six grandchildren. As the incredibly talented seamstress she was, Molli took pride in creating beautiful prom dresses for her daughters, Halloween costumes for her children and grandchildren and on many occasions full bedding sets for the babies in her life. Molli loved making people happy by using her hands to create. This included baking! Be it breads, cookies or homemade candies, friends and family loved to receive goody bags from her and all of her grandkids enjoyed the sugary treats when they spent time with their Nana. Throughout her life, Molli enjoyed traveling, and with her husband, Craig Gunther, she was able to stand atop the Eiffel Tower, scuba dive in Honduras and climb the stairs to the top of the Statue of Liberty. Rich in family, Molli left behind many that loved her. She is survived in death by her mother, Nina Elithe Kroll, four sisters, Teri Kroll; Marti and Robert Gibbons; Dana Kroll; and Traci and Steve Wheldon. Her children: Brigette and Aaron Hoel; Ashlee Ruddell and Matthew Piller; Emily Gunther; David Elkins and Thomas Buxman. Grandchildren: Kaitlen Raie, Jaydon Brandt, Rylan Blake, Karson Stephen, Liam Colton and Vaughne Brielle. Molli is proceeded in death by her father, Darwin Raymond Kroll, and her husband, Craig Leon Gunther. To honor a mother, sister and friend, the family will hold Memorial Services from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls.
For those of you who may be attending Molli Kroll Gunther's memorial service on Saturday at 11:00 at Wood Funeral Home, we will be having a food and drink gathering afterwards from 2:00 to 4:00 at The Eagles Lodge.
