MINNIE C. HIGH
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Minnie Estell Clements High, 82, of Idaho Falls, died July 26, 2006, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home.
She was born August 7, 1923, at Rexburg, Idaho, to George Washington Clements and Zella Cantwell Clements. The family later moved to Idaho Falls, where she attended Central High School.
On April 27, 1946, she married Kenneth Levi High in Dillon, Montana. She was a wife and homemaker. Her husband preceded her in death on September 25, 1984.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, quilting, and collecting nick nacks. Minnie was a devoted wife and mother, loved spending time with her family and received great joy from animals.

Son: Merland Eugene (Paula) Ricks, Idaho Falls
Son: Kenneth Daniel (LaRee) High, Idaho Falls
Son: Alfred Lee (Vickie) High, Shelley
Son: Carl Leroy (Irene) High, Idaho Falls
Daughter: Gloria Kay (Wayne) Gardner, Idaho Falls
Sister: Mary Martha (Harvey) Powell, Jarrettsville, MD
20 Grandchildren and 40 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister, Lila Hayes.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2006, at Rose Hill Cemetery with Merland Ricks officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge).
