Mildred Ellen Kelley, 102, of Ammon, passed away March 23, 2021, at her home. She was under the care of her loving family and Aspen Home Health & Hospice.
Mildred was born December 1, 1918, in Ozawkie, Kansas, to Louis M. Puderbaugh and Ellen Genevra Parsons Puderbaugh. She grew up and attended schools in Ozawkie and graduated from Ozawkie High School.
On September 30, 1940, she married Homer William Kelley in Oskaloosa, Kansas. Mildred and Homer made their home in May, Idaho, where they raised their daughters, Patricia and Phyllis. They later resided in Salmon, Idaho, until Mildred moved to Ammon in 2011.
She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, flowers, and sewing dresses for her family. She loved music and played the piano and violin.
Mildred is survived by her loving daughters, Patricia (David) Brown of Idaho Falls and Phyllis (Gerald) Jarvis of Mackay, ID; 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Ellen Puderbaugh; husband, Homer Kelley; brothers, Lee, Milton, and Cecil Puderbaugh; sister, Carol Lewis; and son-in-law, David Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 9-9:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Salmon Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
