Mildred Heston

MILDRED LUCILLE HESTON UCON, ID -- Mildred Lucille Heston, 86, of Ucon, went home to be with her Heavenly Father January 20, 2006. Her family was at her side. She was born November 20, 1919, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Frank Lawrence Travis and Lilly Caldwell Travis. She grew up and attended schools in the Idaho Falls area. She married Ralph David Heston October 18, 1941, in the Idaho Falls Baptist Church. He preceded her in death October 3, 1990. She was a member of the Berean Baptist Church and the Baptist Bible study group. She also belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family, being a homemaker, sewing, quilting and crocheting. She is survived by: Daughter: Charlotte (Tom) Moore, Boise, ID; Daughter: Charlene (Bill) Deveraux, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Reed Dean (Linda) Heston, Ucon, ID; Daughter: Ruth (Bill) Peed, Hampton, VA; Daughter: Rita (Frank) Wennstrom, Boise, ID; 9 Grandchildren, Mark (Cathy) Deveraux, MiChell M. Deveraux, Stacie (Eric) Gilbert, Jennifer (Juan) Romero, Amber (Sean) Layton, Robert Fisher, Salina (Lenny) Guy, Christine (Eric) Wright and Karen (Neil Brookshire) Wennstrom, Brother: Bill (Cleo) Travis, UT Sisters: Virginia (Dale) Blunk, Marybell (Gaynard) East, June (Jess) Decaria and Norma Jean (Clyde) George. 12 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; she was also preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Dean Winder. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at the Berean Baptist Church, 2975 East First Street, with Pastor Todd Wood officiating. The family will visit with friends at Wednesday beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Berean Baptist Church, In Memory of Mildred. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
