Mildred Ann Taylor Gobert, 73, of Idaho Falls, passed away on February 15, 2016, at her home.
She was born October 6, 1942, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She grew up and attended schools in the area.
On March 5, 1961, she married Gerald Gerard Gobert in Butler County, Pennsylvania. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker and later worked as a waitress at Denny’s. In 1969, they moved their family to Los Angeles. Gerald preceded her in death on May 4, 1976. In 2000, she moved to Idaho Falls where she has since resided.
Millie was a member of the Catholic Church. She was a hard worker who dedicated her life to her children.
Survivors are: Son: Gerald Gerard Gobert Jr., Idaho Falls, ID Son: Rene Victor (Linda) Gobert, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Melvin Richard Gobert, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Mildred Ann Gonzales, California Daughter: Patricia Ann Rummler, Idaho Falls, ID 10 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; a son, Florent Joseph Gobert; and a brother, Robert Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). The family will visit with friends on Monday from 7-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 1-1:45 p.m., both at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
