During the bad flu epidemic of the 1918-1919, Milly lost most of her hearing, which caused her much trouble and heartache throughout her life. She attended the School for the Blind and Deaf in Gooding, Idaho, where she learned to lip read and sign. It was in Gooding that she met and married her first husband, Clark Prince. Mildred then married Oscar Feezer, who was a truck driver at the time. After doing his tour of duty in Germany, they went to Nevada and he worked on the State Highway for many years. They later went to Alaska and Milly got her first hearing aids, which made it possible for her to enjoy life much more. They were making a permanent move to Swan Valley after working in India for over two years and Pakistan for two years, when Oscar had a stroke and died. Milly moved back to Oregon, where she loved to be. She had a very active and full life there, dancing, which she loved, seven or more times a week. She went on senior cruises and trips with her sisters and friends. She was married to Arnold J. Bush a short time before he passed away in 2006. Milly moved back to Swan Valley to be with her only family and Jean and her husband, Tony, took care of her there, along with her own special nurse, a grandson, Kelly. She was well taken care of and adored Kelly.
