Mike Stoddard

Mike H. Stoddard, 53, of Idaho Falls, died October 26, 2010, at his home. He was born November 23, 1956, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Bert Stoddard and Nell Hanes Stoddard. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Skyline High School. He continued his education at the University of Idaho in Moscow and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Science. He also served as a Sergeant in the U. S. Air Force. On November 2, 1979, he married Joyce Wadsworth in Palisades, Idaho. They were later divorced. He worked as a Supervisory Natural Resource Specialist for the Department of Interior Bureau of Land Management. Mike was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being in the outdoors. Survivors are: Daughter: Alicia (Austin) Flegel, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Chad W. Stoddard, Idaho Falls, ID Mother: Nell Zollinger, Rexburg, ID Brother: Scott Stoddard, Idaho Falls, ID 1 grandchild He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Jess Stoddard. Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at the Idaho Falls LDS Ironwood Ward (2020 Charlotte Drive). The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Military rites will be presented, following the services at the church, by the Bonneville County Veterans Team and Idaho Honor Guard. Burial will be in the Burton Cemetery at a later date.
