Mike D. Sommer - 09/10/2001 Mike D. Sommer - 09/10/2001 MIKE D. SOMMER IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Mike Dee Sommer, 40, of Idaho Falls, died September 10, 2001, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born January 28, 1961, at Idaho Falls, to Dale F. Sommer and Gwen Etta Grover Sommer. He grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Templeview Elementary School, Eagle Rock Junior High School, and Skyline High School. He married Trina Sommer and they were later divorced. He worked as a service station attendant and at the time of his death was serving an apprenticeship with the Painters Union. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved fishing, hunting, leatherwork, and the outdoors. Surviving are:Father: Dale Sommer, Idaho Falls, IDBrother: Bret D. Sommer, Idaho FallsBrother: Kirk [Kathie] Sommer, Elko, NVHe was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents. Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2001, at the Idaho Falls LDS Mountain View Ward, 1450 Mountain View Lane, with a counselor in the Mountain View Ward Bishopric officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday for one hour prior to services at the church.
