Mike Masters

Mike Masters, 62, of Pocatello, passed away August 27, 2025, at Portneuf Medical Center.

Michael Dennis Masters was born July 24, 1963, in Bellflower, California, to Dennis Fred Masters and GaeLynn Perry Masters. He grew up and attended schools in Hacienda Heights, California, and graduated from Los Altos High School.

On September 14, 2013, he married Lacey Christine Masters in Idaho Falls, Idaho, at the Idaho Falls 9th Ward Chapel. Mike and Lacey made their home in Pocatello, Idaho. Mike worked as a Fire Fighter with the Wild Fire Conservation Corp in California and built Thunder Jet Boats.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved spending time at the temple, especially doing baptisms. He enjoyed fishing, cars, playing football, and spending time with family.

Mike is survived by his wife, Lacey Christine Masters of Pocatello, ID; sons and daughters, Joshua Masters, Kali Masters, Katie Cohens, Sean Cohens; granddaughter, Malani Campose; mother, GaeLynn St.John; sister, Lisa Masters; brother, David Masters; and nieces and nephews, Jerri Joe, Roy, Megan (Cody), Jade, Nicky (Edgar) (who loved him very much).

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Fred Masters; and step-dad, David Leao.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Meadows Ward, 1700 Kinghorn Road in Pocatello, Idaho.
