Miguel Badillo, 51, of Shelley, passed away on November 16, 2025, at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Miguel was born on January 6, 1974, in Zimapan, Hidalgo, to Raul Badillo and Anslema Ramirez. He grew up in Idaho Falls. After finding his way back to his high school sweetheart, he rekindled their love and married the love of his life on July 13, 2024.
Miguel worked as a Logistics Operations Manager at Eagle Eye Produce for several years and was known for his hard work and dedication. He had a passion for life that showed in things he loved the most--riding his Harley, hunting, and driving his "Mean Green Semi," but, above all, his heart belonged to his family. His love for them ran deep, and he was always their leader, their protector, and the glue that kept everyone strong.
Miguel is survived by his wife, Veronica Vega; children; Gabby (Garrett) Skidmore, Jorge Jr. Vega, Suzette (Eddie) Vega, Jordan Badillo, Salma (Manny) Vega, Isabel Badillo, Raul Hernandez, Miriah Badillo, and Ricardo Jr. Vega; grandchildren; Kyng Skidmore, Layla Garcia Vega, Thiago Garcia Vega, and Xander Gonzales Vega; parents, Raul Badillo and Anselma Ramirez; siblings, Argelia (Betty) Zataray, Raul (Maria) Badillo, and Isaac (Aileen) Badillo.
A Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1690 E. 17th Street, in Idaho Falls. A Rosary will be held Monday at 5:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, with a visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
"Eternal rest grant unto Miguel, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen."
