Miguel Morales, 64, of Rigby, passed away January 12, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Miguel was born September 29, 1953, in Eleodor Castillo, Guerrero, Mexico, to Cipriano Morales and Imelda Sotelo. He grew up and attended schools in Mexico. In 1974, he married Maria Consuelo in Mexico. Miguel and Maria made their home in Rigby, Idaho, where Miguel worked as a Laborer for Idaho Pacific. He was a very hard worker and diligently provided for his family. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed working on cars, loved to build things and do crafts. He also had a love of music. His greatest love was his family and spending time with them. Miguel was an organ donor. Miguel is survived by his wife, Maria Morales of Rigby, ID; daughter, Adelina Morales; son, Emilio Gaxiola; daughter, Rafaela Ruelas; son, Jose Alfredo Ruelas; son, Cipriano Morales; son, Rosario Morales; mother, Imelda Sotelo; brother, Faustino Morales; brother, Nasario Morales; sister, Andrea Alvarado; brother, Jose Luis Estrada; brother, Pedro Najera; sister, Jova Najera; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Cipriano Morales. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, with President Ross Hinckley of the Idaho Falls LDS 17th (Spanish) Branch officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery.
