Michal Louise Allred Patteson was born on October 14, 1942, in Layton, Utah, to William and Lutilda Allred. When she was 11 years old, her family moved to Issaquah, Washington.
Michal served a mission to the Houston Texas Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (1965-66). Shortly after returning, she met her eternal companion, Jack Patteson, and they were married December 3, 1966, in Issaquah, Washginton, and were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on November 13, 1967. They lived in Redmond, Washington, and had three children, Mary Susan, Julie Ann, and John Edward.
Jack and Michal served three missions together, first was a restoration mission in Kirkland, Ohio (1996-98), a proselyting mission in Sawmill, Arizona, serving the Navajo Indians (2002-04), and serving as care takers for the Church owned Nisqually camp grounds in Tacoma, Washington (2006-07). Michal had a lifelong love and desire to pursue family history, successfully bringing many thousands of ancestors to the gospel and eternal ordinances.
Michal is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John Allred; sister, Marylu Kern; and great granddaughter, Amelia Mitchell.
She leaves behind her loving companion, Jack of 54 years; her three children and their spouses; 14 grandchildren and their spouses; and 20 great grandchildren.
