Michael Conrad “Mike” Poliski, age 68, passed away surrounded by loved ones, on the morning of December 26, 2025. Mike had been managing several diagnoses, with the latest being pancreatic cancer at the time of his death.

He was born on May 25, 1957, in Idaho Falls, ID to Chance and Bernice Poliski. Mike served in the Army from 1975 to 1979. Following the Army, he attended Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID. While living in Pocatello, he met the love of his life, Janet Anderson, working at Sears together. The couple were married on May 27, 1983.

Mike served the Idaho Falls community personally and professionally for over 35 years. He and his most beloved wife, Janet, spent their lives building and growing the family business, AAA Sewer Service, that was founded by Mike's father. Anyone who knew Mike knew that he loved to work, but really, Mike loved to serve those in need. Mike's father had a saying that Mike lived by which was, "When it's too tough for everyone else, it's just right for us". Mike applied this concept in the business daily, but he also applied this in his family life. He worked hard and played hard and sometimes, both at the same time. Mike valued his family more than any possession and the time with his family meant the world to him. He loved to spend time in Island Park working, relaxing, and riding four wheelers with as many kids as he could fit on with him. Mike also loved boating, riding motorcycles, dancing, and playing his favorite card game, 3-13.

Mike had a special relationship with the Lord that was strengthened by the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mike lead his family with love and guidance from those teachings and personal inspiration that the Lord knew he needed. Mike was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa.

Mike is survived by the love of his life, Janet (Anderson) Poliski, his children: Eric (Danielle) Poliski, Van (Alexis) Poliski, Janalee Poliski (Brett Klassen); 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson. He is also survived by his siblings: Deb (Ric) Jackson of Elbert CO, Nick (Lisa) Poliski of Idaho Falls, and Carleen (Kurt) Bare of Terreton, ID.

Mike is preceded in death by his son, Mark Poliski; parents, Chance and Bernice Poliski; mother, and father-in-law, Beth and Melton Anderson.

Mike will be remembered for his grit, his dedication to serving those around him, his giant heart that loved fiercely, and the wisdom that he always was willing to share. The Poliski legacy of AAA Sewer Service will continue to live on and service our community.
