KILLIAN HURRICANE, UT -- Michael Russell Killian, 61, former Idaho Falls and Rigby Resident, currently of Hurricane, Utah, died December 19, 2002, at his winter home in Hurricane. He was born September 17, 1941 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Don Thorne Killian and Lois Russell Killian. He attended schools in Idaho Falls, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. He attended Ricks College. He entered the National Guard, took basic training at Fort Ord, California and served for one year. He married Marilyn L. Casper on November 9, 1962. They lived in Rigby for 26 years. They were later divorced. He married Marcia Nelson Scott July 22, 1996 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. They have lived in Idaho Falls the last 6½ years. He worked at the Naval Reactor Facility for 38 years and for Bechtel in Document Control. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in various positions. Surviving are:Wife: Marcia Killian, Idaho Falls, IDDaughters: Suzanne (Lorne) Redmond, Salt Lake City, UT; Nancy Killian, Provo, UT; Jennifer Ann Luck, Ammon, ID;Sons: Brent Michael Killian, Salt Lake City, UT; David Trent Killian, Ammon, ID; Brothers: Jan (Imogene) Killian, Payson, UT; Steve (Holly) Killian, Idaho Falls, ID; Sister: Lee (Arn) Davidson, Marlton, NJ7 GrandchildrenHe was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and a son-in-law, Michelle & Bradley Anderson. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2002 at the Ammon West Stake Center (2055 Coronado.) The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood East Side Chapel (963 S. Ammon) and for one hour prior to the services on Friday at the church.
