Michael Frost

Michael Todd Frost, 56, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away July 18, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Michael was born April 11, 1960, in Tucson, Arizona, to J. H. Frost and Norma Cousin Frost. He was the youngest of seven kids. He grew up in Tucson and attended schools there before moving to Idaho Falls, at the age of 17, and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.

In 1985, he had his first child, Michael J., with Rainey Jack. Then Kelley was born in 1988. A few years later Michael and Rainey parted ways. Michael worked as a cook for Mama Inez and Texas Roadhouse for many years. Michael moved back to Arizona in the year 2000. He became a truck driver and made a career out of it. He moved back to Idaho Falls in April of 2014 to be with his kids and his grandchildren.

Michael was a firm believer in Jesus Christ. He loved spending time with his family. He would take his grandson, Kayden, on outings to Barnes & Noble, Maverik, and Walmart on his Harley. His kids were his life and he would do anything for them. He was lively, carefree, and always happy.

Michael enjoyed riding his Harley, reading, camping, watching war documentaries and shooting. He will be truly missed till the end of time.

Michael is survived by daughter, Kelley (Garrett) Thacker of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Michael J. Frost of Idaho Falls, ID; siblings, Jay Frost of Alamogordo, NM; Robin Arnoldi of Tucson, AZ; Diana Lewis of Mesa, AZ; Nancy Moore of Chandler, AZ; Larraine Frost Cossom of San Tan Village, AZ; Penny Arbet of Cookville, TN; and 3 grandchildren, Kayden, Jazlyn and Jaxson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
