Michael Patrick Faller

Michael Patrick Faller died October 19, 2022, doing what he loved in the mountains surrounding Howe, Idaho, which he loved and hunted annually. Michael was born in Bozeman Montana on December 26th 1948.

Michael's loved his time spent with his beloved wife of 42 years, Camille Salanave; daughter Elsha Parsons; and grandchildren, Jake Salanave, Caitlyn Parsons, Taylor Parsons and Braden Johnson; his many friends who were life family to him including his God-sons Garion and Shawn Wells and God-grandsons Oliver and Henry Wells.

Michael enjoyed adventuring on his 4-wheeler, appreciating nature, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, traveling to and experiencing new places. His wood working skills were the envy of many. Michael shared his skills at home repairs and construction with those less knowledgeable than he (as long as you were prepared for his good-natured teasing). His infectious laughter could be heard while visiting with friends, enjoying good food and spirits and while playing card and dice games with friends and family alike.

He was a loyal and enthusiastic patron of the arts including The Phoenix Theater, enjoying multiple mature-audiences-only performances by the Artist's Repertory Theater of Idaho (ARTI), The Idaho Falls Symphony and the Museum of Idaho. If you were lucky you enjoyed hearing him sing or play guitar.

Michael worked for over 30 years as an electrician all over the Northwest concluding his career as a Construction Safety Supervisor at the INL. He was a dedicated member of the IBEW (international Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) local 449 for 30+ years until his death. Michael was full of vigor (or is that vinegar?) and any who met him got to share in his life-force. Michael's passing has left a blank spot on the canvas of our hearts but the beautiful painting of the memories he left there are as priceless as any Monet.

No service will be held but a Wake remembering his life will be held at a later date (TBD).
