Michael Cushman

Michael David Cushman, 65, of Ammon, passed away December 20, 2018, at his home. He was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho and his loving family. Mike was born August 16, 1953, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Chester Gene Cushman and Donna Titmus Trumble. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. Mike was a welder for years and then attended Idaho State University where he studied in the graphic artist program. In January 1976, he married Pauline Miller Hayes in Idaho Falls. To this union were born two children, Melissa and Roger. Mike and Pauline were later divorced. He was a member of the union and worked as a Graphic Artist for INL. He retired in 2010. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting and shooting guns with his kids and his brothers. He loved spending time with his friends and family. Michael is survived by his loving children, Roger Cushman of Idaho Falls, ID, daughter, Melissa (Phil) Bates, both of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Todd Cooper of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Gary Cushman of Boise, ID; and grandchildren, Madisyn, Kali, Dylan, London, Cameron, and Ava. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene Cushman and Donna Trumble; sister, Cathy Alleman, and brother, Roger Cushman. Per Mike’s request, no services will be held.
