Michael Blank - 08/02/2002 Michael Blank - 08/02/2002 MICHAEL BLANK IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Michael Blank, 59, of Idaho Falls, died August 1, 2002, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born February 13, 1943 in Boston, Massachusetts. He served in the Army during the VietNam conflict. Mike was married to Betty Jepson for 26 years. They have one son, Robert Blank. Betty preceded him in death. Mike was married to Karen Louise Ledbetter in 1993. Mike, Betty and Karen were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. He served as a Boy Scout Leader, President of the Son's of Norway, and was a Mason 32nd degree. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church where he participated in the U. M. Men's Club, the church finance committee and the church softball team. Mike played ball with his sons for the Hattricks team. His greatest interests were his kids and grandkids, and he enjoyed baseball and old movies. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2002, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 237 North Water Avenue, with Reverends Thom Larson and Michael Kennedy officiating. Following the services, Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team after which the family will visit with friends at the church.
