MIKE BAKER SWAN VALLEY, ID -- Michael David Baker, 42, of Idaho Falls, died May 21, 2010, in Swan Valley from injuries received in a four-wheeling accident. Mike was born February 24, 1968, in Eugene, Oregon, to Fred David Baker and Millicent Anne Pope Baker. He attended schools Idaho Falls. He married Lois Marie Joseph, and had two children, Jesse (13) and Mackenza (9) They were later divorced. He married Mindy L. Curtis on November 21, 2009 in Rigby, Idaho. Mike became stepfather to Austin (13), Kameron (11), Justin (10), Drex (8) and Julia (7). Mike was working for Old Castle Precasting at the time of his death. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed anything mechanical, cars, four wheeling, spending time in the outdoors, cooking, and especially spending time with his kids and taking them to sports and scouting activities. Mike would help anyone at anytime. Survivors include: Wife: Mindy L. Baker, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Jesse Baker, Philadelphia, PA Son: Austin Hurd, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Kameron Hurd, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Justin Hurd, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Mackenza Baker, Philadelphia, PA Son: Drex Zamaro, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Julia Zamaro, Idaho Falls, ID Father: David (Colene) Baker, Idaho Falls, ID Mother: Millicent Bonfield, California Brother: Bryan Ward, Washington Brother: Shawn (Chris) Baker, Nebraska Sister: Terrie McCowan, Ucon, Idaho Sister: Julia Baker, Rigby, Idaho Sister: Susanne Perry, California He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Alice Geisler; and a nephew, Johnathan Clay. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 27, 2010, at the Idaho Falls LDS 14th Ward, 651 Gladstone, with Bishop Dean Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. There will be no visitation prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park . In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations to help Mindy with funeral expenses be sent to Wood Funeral Home, P.O.
