MERYL WAGGONER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Meryl Joyce Waggoner, 86, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 20, 2009, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 9, 1922, in Watertown, South Dakota, to Cecil Underwood Rice and Myrtle Rice. She grew up and attended schools in the area.
She married Herbert Girden Waggoner in Wyoming. They were later divorced. She was a devoted mother and homemaker.
Meryl was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served a mission in Salt Lake City at the Family History Center and also was a temple worker in the Idaho Falls Temple. Meryl enjoyed doing genealogy work, sewing, quilting, and reading.

Daughter: Vicki L. (Clifton) Brown, Ft. Collins, CO
Son: Martin L. (Sjoukja) Waggoner, Porter Falls, WV
Brother: Cecil L. Rice, Los Altos, CA
Sister: Margery Barris, Cody, WY
9 Grandchildren & 6 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Victor Herbert Waggoner and Lonne Jay Waggoner.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 22, 2009, at the Idaho Falls LDS 14th Ward, 651 Gladstone, with Bishop Blaine Eborn officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Cody, Wyoming on Friday under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
