Meril Louis Price, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 22, 2014, at his home at Elk Creek Senior Living.
Meril was born October 16, 1954, in Shelley, Idaho, to Donald Louis Price and Myrna Hutton Price. He grew up in Arco and attended Arco Elementary, Butte County Middle School, and Butte County High School.
He joined the U. S. Marines and was stationed in the Philippines, where he met and married his wife, Carmelita. They were later divorced.
After his military service, Meril lived in Jackpot, Nevada, Farmington, New Mexico, Boise, Idaho, Ogden, Utah, and came to Idaho Falls in 2005. He worked in the oil fields, did farm work, and built houses in Boise and Ogden.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his nieces and nephews, and his dog, Nahla.

brother, Kenny Price of Idaho Falls, ID,
sister, Carol Price Doherty of Idaho Falls, ID.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Steve.
