Melissa Leah Weise

Melissa Leah Weise, 51, of Post Falls, passed away February 18, 2021, at her home.

Melissa was born August 3, 1969, in Idaho Falls, ID, to David Leigh Weise Sr. and Ardith Leona Lloyd Weise.  She grew up and attended schools in Firth and graduated from Firth High School.

She married Quinn Nelson and they were later divorced. Melissa lived in Idaho Falls before moving to Post Falls, Idaho, in 2010. Melissa worked at McDonald's.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She enjoyed embroidery, ceramics, window shopping, movies, and taking scenic drives with her family.

Melissa is survived by her brother, David L. (Julie) Weise, Jr. of Goshen, ID; sisters, Debra Weise and Vicki Bird, both of Idaho Falls; nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Ardith Weise; brother, Stephen Weise; and brother-in-law, Rodney Bird.

Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery.
