Click Here To View Memorial Video Maxine Chloie Crow Smith, 81, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 18, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was under the care of her loving family. Maxine was born December 1, 1933, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Benjamen Arthur Crow and Esma Elizabeth Waters Crow. She grew up and attended schools in Ammon, Idaho, and graduated from Bonneville High School. On May 29, 1954, she married Robert Wrolf Smith in Iona, Idaho. To this union were born six children, Trudy, Benny, Patsy, Richard, Timothy, and Kellis. Maxine and Robert made their home in Idaho Falls, where Maxine worked as a homemaker, ranch wife, and in various potato warehouses. She enjoyed fishing, pinochle, playing pool, and collecting salt and pepper shakers. Maxine is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert Wrolf Smith of Idaho Falls; daughter, Trudy Marie Smith of Idaho Falls; son, Benny J. (Teresa) Smith of Ucon, ID; daughter, Patsy Robin Licano of Idaho Falls; son, Richard James Smith of Rigby, ID; son, Timothy Robert (Lorrie) Smith of Rigby, ID; son, Kellis Ray (Jennifer) Smith of Rigby, ID. 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and five sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, and Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., both times at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Wood Funeral Home, P.O. Box 51434, Idaho Falls, ID 83405, to defray funeral expenses.
