Maurene Sellers - 02/19/2003 Maurene Sellers - 02/19/2003 MAURENE L. SELLERS IDAHO FALLS, ID - Maurene Leah Brown Sellers, 89, of Idaho Falls, died February 18, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born November 1, 1913, at Blackfoot, to Fred H. Brown and Dorothea Lee Cornette Brown. She grew up in the Stockton, California area and attended schools there. The Brown family made their home in Centralia and Vancouver, Washington during World War II. She worked in the shipyards, then was a professional painter and did maintenance work. When she came to Idaho she worked as a potato grader and supervisor of seed processing. Following her marriage to Fred R. Sellers on July 15, 1957, at Missoula, Montana, she moved to Idaho Falls where they have lived ever since. She enjoyed gardening, home maintenance and crafts, quilting, and rock collecting.. Brown & Chester Frank Brown. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2003, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, with Bishop Kent Browning of the Idaho Falls LDS Taylor Crossing Ward officiating. The family will meet with friends on Friday from 7-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m., both at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. Uncle Fred, Our hearts are with you as we all mourn the passing of Aunt Maurene, even though we are far away in Tennessee. Your house was always a favorite destination when we were growing up and will always be remembered fondly. We regret that we will be unable to attend the funeral services, but will be thinking of you.
