IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Maureen Simmons Wickham, 52, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 17, 2008, at her home of natural causes.
She was born February 28, 1955, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Lynn Coulson Simmons and Irene Elizabeth Johnson Simmons. She grew up in Pocatello and graduated from Highland High School.
She was married to Rock Wickham and they later divorced. She lived in Pocatello until she was 32 and worked for Union Pacific Railroad. She moved to Idaho Falls 21 years ago and worked for Macaw Telephone Answering Service.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Maureen loved collecting photographs of family and friends. In her younger years she loved being outdoors and was an avid gardener.
Maureen had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed telling jokes. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1986 and through the years many wonderful people have helped care for her. The family would like to especially thank Cindy Adamson and Brean Gleason from Qualicare who not only provided care, but took the time to be her friends.

Brother: Richard (Marilyn) Simmons, Fresno, CA
Brother: Frank Lynn (Sheila) Simmons, Pocatello, ID
Sister: Sherry (Mark) Paulsen, Idaho Falls, ID
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a nephew, Brandon Paulsen.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008, at the Idaho Falls LDS 11th Ward, 1235 Juniper, with Bishop Mark Paulsen officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.

I just found out about Maureen yesterday from Rhonda. Although it has been decades since I saw her last, I still remember the way she could make people laugh. You have my deepest sympathies and I hope the rest of you are doing well.
