NAOMI JACOBSON
SWAN VALLEY, ID -- Mattie “ Naomi “ Jacobson, 81, of Swan Valley, died September 8, 2007, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
She was born September 3, 1926 in Irwin, Idaho to Lewis A Fisher and Margeret M. Butler Fisher. She attended Swan Valley School.
She married Ruland Oliver Jacobson on September 12, 1941 in Idaho Falls, Idaho . They had a family of eight children. Naomi and her family lived in Jackson, Wyoming from 1948 until just before her husband’s death on March 5, 1987. She was a wife and a mother and worked as a dental assistant for Dr. James Alexander.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed being with her family, cooking, gardening and reading. In her younger years she loved to go dancing.

Daughter: Sonia (Bil) Meyers, Gallup, NM
Son: Steve (Melinda) Jacobson, Driggs, ID
Sister: Donnetta Nelson, Shelley, ID
15 Grandchildren & 18 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband and a four year old son, Barry .
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m.,Wednesday, September 12, 2007, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., Idaho Falls, with Bishop Blair Jacobson of the Palisades LDS Ward officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.

My condolences for your loss. I didn't know Naomi as well as I would have liked, but when I did see her I always left the house with a smile...and sometimes a chuckle. I regret not having the time to get to know her better.
