Click Here To View Memorial Video Matthew Ryan Henry, 33, of Idaho Falls, passed away on October 23, 2015, at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on June 15, 1982, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Mark Anthony Henry and Shirley Marie Grimaud Henry. His family moved to San Diego, California, then Sanford, Florida before returning to Idaho Falls. He attended Edgemont Elementary, Clair E. Gale Junior High, Idaho Falls High School and graduated from York High School. He later attended Eastern Idaho Technical College (EITC). Matthew married Leah Burton and to this union was born a daughter, Madison. They were later divorced. He worked as an electrician for Premier Electrical and was a member of the Electician’s Union. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, camping, music, and dancing. Survivors are: Daughter: Madison Henry, Idaho Falls, ID Mother: Shirley Henry, Idaho Falls, ID Father: Mark Henry, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Jeff (Candice) Henry, Idaho Falls, ID He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Adrian and Carolyn Grimaud. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon Rd.). The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 7-8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services, both at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services with burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Matthew Henry Memorial Fund at Wood Funeral Home, PO Box 51434, Idaho Falls ID 83405 to help offset funeral costs.
