Mary Alice Weeks

Mary Alice Perkins Weeks, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 28, 2018, at Fairwinds-Sand Creek Retirement Community. Mary Alice was born January 16, 1936, in Star Valley, Wyoming, to Thomas Nathaniel Perkins and Mary Elizabeth Hinck Perkins. She grew up and attended schools in Star Valley until the family moved to Logan, Utah where she attended Logan High School. On September 15, 1950, at the age of 14, she married Dean Weeks in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union were born two children: Michael and Angelia. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She also worked for four years as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for Clark County in Nevada and 20 years as a Department Manager at Sears in Idaho Falls. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed needlepoint and knitting. Mary is survived by her son, Michael D. (Paula) Weeks of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Angelia (Charles) Hiderdale of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters; one brother; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, and three sisters.
