Click Here To View Memorial Video Mary Christine Rasmussen, 58, of Idaho Falls, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, after a battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends as she passed at Life Care Center of Treasure Valley in Boise. Mary was born July 5, 1955, in Idaho Falls, to Arthur Edmund Rasmussen and Verlene Josephine Hodges Rasmussen. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended New Sweden Elementary, Shelley Junior High and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She attended The Salvation Army. Mary worked as a housekeeper at Mountain View Hospital. Mary loved spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren. She was an avid reader, loved camping, outdoor activities and listening to music. Mary is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Chris) Jones of Boise, ID, grandchildren, Graham and Gunner, Sister, Sonja (Milton) McIntier, brothers, James (Patsy) Rasmussen, Steven Rasmussen and Keith (Laurie) Rasmussen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Verlene Rasmussen, a sister, Barbara Linger, a brother, Kelly Joe Rasmussen, and a nephew, Todd Linger. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. The family will visit with friends from 1-1:45 p.m. Saturday at Wood Funeral Home. The family kindly requests all condolences and flowers be sent to Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge.
