MARY RAMOS
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Lena Maria “Mary” Ramos,
68, of Idaho Falls, died January 24, 2004, at her home.
She was born March 21, 1935 at Brackettville, Texas to
Francisco Martinez and Elina Uvalles Martinez. She grew up in the area
and attended Brackettville High School.
On June 28, 1953, she married Teodoro Terrazas Ramos,
Jr. in Brackettville, Texas. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho
Falls LDS Temple on April 15, 1972. She was a wife, mother Grandmother
and great grandmother and homemaker.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, she served in the Cub Scouting program, Relief Society organization,
the nursery and as a librarian. She enjoyed arts & crafts and loved
her flowers and garden. She especially enjoyed spending time with her
family.

Sister: Sulema Alvarez, Lubbock, TX
Sister: Victoria Terrazas, Bakersfield, CA
Sister: Estella (Miguel)Valverdez, Cranberry, TX
Sister: Maria Edelena Rodriquez, Lubbock, TX
21 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Theodore Ramos III.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, January
29, 2004, at the Ammon LDS 3rd Ward (2945 Selway), with Bishop Nate Martin
officiating.
The family will meet with friends on Wednesday from 7-8:30
p.m. at Wood East Side (963 Ammon Rd.) and for one hour prior to the services
at the church.
Burial will be in Iona Cemetery under the direction of
Wood Funeral Home East Side.
