Dear Paul,
I wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you today. I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. She was a neat lady and she did a great job of raising you. You and I were good friends in high school and even though we have been separated by time and distance for some time I still consider you a great guy and a good friend. My prayers are with you in this time of loss.
