Mary Medran

MARY MEDRAN IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO -- Mary Gonzales Medran, 84, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 19, 2008 at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls surrounded by her family. She was born March 24, 1924, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Tomaz Gonzales and Eufamia Cabrera. In 1958, she started working at Sacred Heart Hospital, then at Riverview Hospital as Housekeeping Supervisor. She later worked at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from which she retired after 36 years. She was a member of Jehovah's Witness Church and enjoyed going to church and doing her church work. She also loved gardening, listening to Western music, dancing, family gatherings, and most of all cooking for her family. Our Mom's laughter and love will be in our hearts forever! We will miss her deeply. Survivors include: Daughter: Nancy (Don) Kelley, Ammon, ID Son: Stan Medran, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Russell Medran, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Teresa (Ted) Medran-Gardner, Rigby, ID 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sons, William O. Medran and Wayne Medran.
