Mary Kelley

Mary Irene Lyon Kelley, 63, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 9, 2013, after living with neuromyelitis optica (NMO) for three years, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Mary was born February 17, 1949, in Shelley, Idaho, to Elvin Lyon and Patrina Bolander Lyon. She grew up and attended schools in Firth, graduating from Firth High School. On March 22, 1974, she married Richard H. Kelley in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Mary was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crocheting for her family and friends. She especially loved her family and being with them. Survivors are: Husband: Richard Kelley, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Casey (Emily) Kelley, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Kevin (Kimberlee) Kelley, Rexburg, ID Son: Clint (Klarisa) Kelley, Idaho Falls, ID Father: Elvin Lyon, Firth, ID Brother: Robert Lyon, Firth, ID Brother: Mike Lyon, Lincoln, ID Brother: Bryce Lyon, Ammon, ID Sister: Patty Jolley, Orem, UT Sister: Dawn Hansen, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Colleen Kidman, Shelley, ID and 14 grandchildren She was preceded in death by her son, Kay Kelley; her mother; her grandparents; and her father-in-law, John Kelley. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013, at the Idaho Falls LDS 31st Ward, 1165 Azalea Drive, with Ken Minnix, a counselor in the 31st Ward Bishopric, officiating. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m., both at the church. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
