Mary Evadeen Horsburgh, 95, of Ammon, passed away May 7, 2018, at The Gables of Ammon Assisted Living Center. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice and her loving family. Mary was born August 4, 1922, in Diamondville, Wyoming, to Charles Henry Sneddon and Grace Little Sneddon. She grew up and attended schools in southwestern Wyoming and graduated from Kemmerer High School. On April 21, 1941, she married Richard Horsburgh Sr. in Randolph, Utah. To this union were born three children, Cheryl, Charles and Richard Jr. Mary and Richard made their home in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mary enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. Mary is survived by her son, Charles (Kris) Horsburgh of Idaho Falls, ID, daughter, Cheryl (Roy) Daughter of Harrisville, UT, sister, Nila (Doug) Hogan of Soda Springs, ID; 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard Horsburgh, Sr., sister, Katherine Gill, and son, Richard Horsburgh. Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, with her son, Chuck Horsburgh, officiating. The family will visit with friends one half hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2018, in Rest Haven Cemetery in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
