Mary Barzee

DENISE BARZEE AMMON, ID -- Mary Denise Staples Barzee, 65, of Ammon, died February 14, 2008, at her home. She was under the care of Hospice Alliance. She was born September 5, 1942, in Shelley, Idaho to Donovan L. Staples and Verda Mary Dye Staples. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Firth High School. On April 15, 1960, she married Marion Dean Barzee in Goshen, Idaho. She was a mother and homemaker, and most recently a greeter at Walmart. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Denise enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family. Survivors include: Husband: Marion Barzee, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Ronald Barzee, Ammon, ID Daughter: Theresa Barzee, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Debbie (Steve) Smith, Dubois, ID Son: Todd Barzee, Ammon, ID Son: Daniel (Christine) Barzee, Arco, ID Son: Eric (April) Barzee, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Steven Lee (Sandy) Staples, Firth, ID 20 Grandchildren & 10 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Shirley and Marlene; and a grandchild, Terressa Porter. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2008, at the Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) with Chaplain Thomas Baird officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
