Marva (Brower) Clark

Marva Brower Clark, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 31, 2023, at Teton Healthcare of Cascadia. She was under the care of her loving family.

Marva was born December 9, 1933, in Ashton, Idaho, to George Austin Brower and Velta Cherry Brower. She grew up and attended schools in Ashton, Rigby, and Firth, and graduated from Firth High School. She also attended Ricks College.

On December 3, 1954, she married Billy J. Chiles. Marva and Billy made their home in Rigby, Idaho, where Marva worked as a secretary for Jefferson County Courthouse. She later owned a dry cleaning business. Marva and Billy were later divorced.

Later in life, Marva married W. Glen Clark. Marva and Glen made their home in Iona, Idaho, until Glen's passing on January 6, 2018.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed band in high school, sewing, skiing, and snowmobiling.

Marva is survived by her loving daughter, Tammy (Von) Baron of Rigby, ID; daughter, Sandy (Mike) Bahr of Montrose, CO; son, Bill (Diane) Chiles of Ammon, ID; son, Keith M Ensign of Oakland, CA; brother, Clifford (Norma) Brower of Firth, ID; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, and one sister.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 7, 2023, at the Ashton-Pineview Cemetery, 3609 East 1300 North, Ashton, Idaho. The family will visit with friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road.
