MARTELL D. KILLPACK
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Martell David Killpack, 74, of Idaho
Falls, died February 2, 2005, at his home from cancer.
He was born November 28, 1930, in Idaho Falls, Idaho,
to Ellis Killpack and Hazel Elnora Peterson Killpack. He grew up in the
Osgood and Kimball areas and graduated from Firth High School.
He was drafted into the U. S. Army and served in the Korean conflict.
During a furlough, he married Theda Rae Tolman, March 11, 1952, in the
Idaho Falls LDS Temple. In 1954 they moved to Osgood and farmed a Utah-Idaho
Sugar Company farm. In 1963 they moved to Roberts where they farmed and
raised cattle. In 1970 they moved to Coltman, where they lived for 32
years. He worked at Idaho Fresh Pak as boiler and maintenance engineer,
and drove school bus for District 93. He retired in 1997.
He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints, and was involved in the Scouting program. He was
also in charge of a church farm and held various other positions .
He loved his grandchildren, spending time with his family,
camping, fishing, horses, cattle, gardening, farming, the mountains, and
generally being outdoors.

Sister: Norma Russell, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Leora K. Wagoner, Idaho Falls, ID
9 Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by both parents and a brother, Vernal “Bud”
Killpack.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday February
7, 2005, at the Ammon LDS 14th Ward, 2055 South Ammon Road, with Bishop
Leslie Grigg officiating.
The family will visit with friends Sunday from 7 to 8:30
p.m. at Wood East Side Chapel, 963 South Ammon, and for one hour prior
to services Monday at the church.
Burial will be in Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery where Military
Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team. Services
are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side.
