Marsha (Andersen) Bodily

Marsha (Andersen) Bodily

Marsha Andersen Bodily, 76, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away July 30, 2025, at Homestead Assisted Living in Rexburg. She was under the care of Homestead Hospice and her loving family.

Marsha was born September 4, 1948, in Rigby, Idaho, to Austin Warn Andersen and Lillie Baron Andersen. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho, California, and Texas, and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Houston, Texas.

Marsha worked as an administrative assistant in oil and land management. She also worked at the INL.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Marsha was a woman whose life was defined by quiet acts of service, unwavering love, and a deep commitment to lifting those around her. She gave freely of her time, her talents, and her heart, without ever asking for anything in return.

She found joy in the simple, beautiful moments of life from heartfelt conversations, time spent with her children and grandchildren, cozy movie nights, and Sunday taco dinners that were filled with laughter and connection. Her spirit came alive through music and creativity. She enjoyed singing, acting, sewing, and painting, and she loved horses and western movies. She played the guitar and accordion, and lit up the stage in musical theatre and had a soft spot for anything Dolly Parton. She loved watching “Murder, She Wrote”, classic westerns, and taking spontaneous road trips just for the adventure of it. Even shopping wasn’t just shopping for Marsha, it had purpose and meaning, often done with others in mind.

Her life was a quiet, constant offering of love, and in the many small things she did so selflessly, Marsha left a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to be loved by her.

Marsha is survived by her daughter, Cecilia "Cindy" Glynn (Richard) McKee Mohn of Spring, TX; daughter, Lillie May (Ken) McKee Bailey of Ammon, ID; daughter, Shayla Marie Bodily Allen of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Darlene Ruth (Cody) Bodily Kunz of Victor, ID; son, Justin Dallas (Sarah) Bodily of Idaho Falls, ID; step-son, Kevin K.
