Marnie Olson

Marnie Kristine Olson, 46, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 13, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Marnie was born December 3, 1970, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Bruce Degnan and Gail Patricia Roosendaal Degnan. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and spent her summers in eastern Washington. Marnie graduated from Bonneville High School.

On August 25, 1990, she married M. Shane Olson in Idaho Falls. To this union were born three children, Brady, Dylan and Cheyenne. Marnie and Shane were later divorced.

Marnie’s greatest accomplishment was her 3 kids. Hair, make-up and beauty was something she passed on to her two kids, Dylan and Cheyenne. During her long battle with cancer she enjoyed crocheting for her loved ones.

Marnie is survived by her son, M. Brady Olson of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Dylan Olson of Idaho Falls, ID, daughter, Cheyenne Olson of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Taira Lynn (Michael) Hardeman of Marysville, WA; brother, Derick Bruce Degnan of Idaho Falls, ID; father, Bruce R. (Christy) Degnan of Scottsdale, AZ; and mother, Gail Degnan and Bob Bybee of Idaho Falls, ID.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at Wood East Side, 963 S. Ammon Rd. Burial in Taylor Cemetery.
