MARLA B. KING
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Marla Bowen King, 66, of Idaho Falls,
Idaho died December 17, 2003, at her home after a brief illness.
She was born December 3, 1937, in Beaver Dam, Utah, to
Joseph Henry Bowen and Maude Maughn Walters Bowen. She attended Grace Elementary
and graduated from GraceHigh School. She also attended Idaho State University
in Pocatello.
She married Joseph M. Hulse December 17, 1955, in Grace,
Idaho. They were blessed with a daughter and a son. They were later divorced.
She married John Bever King October 8, 1977 in Soda Springs,
Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Together they served missions in Finland and in the Stockholm Sweden Temple.
She also served for many years as Primary chorister, and in the Stake Relief
Society Presidency. She also volunteered with her husband as Clergy at the
hospital.
She worked in banking, and also as a Chapter 1 Tutor in
School District 91.
She was a great Mom and homemaker who loved her own children,
grandchildren and neighbor children. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, traveling
and cruises.

Son: Merrill J. Hulse, St. George, UT
Brother: Joel (Gail) Bowen, Ogden, UT
Sister-in-law: Patricia Bowen, Orem, UT
4 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Farel Bowen.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, December
20, 2003, at the Idaho Falls LDS Woodruff 1st Ward, 1660 12th Street, with
Bishop Larry Christensen officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 7-8:30
p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
Burial will be in Lost River Cemetery in Moore, Idaho,
under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
