Mark Steven Davis, 74, of Ammon, passed away January 18, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Mark was born November 3, 1949, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Gerald Rulon Davis and Mary Lucille Jensen Davis. He grew up and attended schools in Utah before moving to California where he graduated from Campbell High School. He also attended Foothill Junior College in Los Altos, California, where he received an Associate’s Degree. He also dutifully served in the United States Air Force as a staff sergeant.

On December 13, 1969, he married Gayle Marie Davis in San Jose, California. Mark and Gayle made their home in Milpitas, California, and Morgan Hill, California, where Mark worked as a computer programmer for several companies.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed inventing and drawing his creations on computers, being an Idaho Falls Temple worker, and loved his family of three daughters, two sons, and nineteen grandchildren.

Mark is survived by his wife, Gayle Davis of Ammon, ID; daughter, Lisa (Michael) Judd of Laguna Niguel, CA; daughter, Susan (Michael) Munch of Lincoln, CA; son, Robert (Nichole) Davis of Elk Grove, CA; son, Jonathan (Happiness) Davis of Lincoln, CA; daughter, Laura (Marcus) Barth of Auburn, CA; sister, Kalyn Davis of Durango, CO; brother, Kelly (Suzette) Davis of Ivins, UT; and 19 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Karol Ann Davis Romero.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Ammon 26th Ward, 1100 South Tiebreaker, with Bishop Brian Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
