Mark Ghil B. Buena

Mark Ghil B. Buena, 41, of Ammon, passed away December 19, 2020, at his home.

Mark was born November 28, 1979, in Manila, Phillippines, to Hermenigildo R.  Buena and Maria Hanna Bantegui Buena. He grew up and attended schools in Las Pinas, Phillipines, and graduated from the University of Perpetual Help.  He also attended De La Salle University where he earned his Associate Degree in Physical Therapy.

On August 14, 2004, he married Meleia McMinn in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They were blessed with three children, Keisha, Iseiah, and Isaac. Mark and Meleia made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Mark worked as a manager for Sofa Mart. Mark and Meleia were later divorced.

He was a member of the Catholic Church.  He enjoyed playing video games, darts, and watching TV and movies.

Mark is survived by his children, Keisha, Iseiah, and Isaac Buena, all of Idaho Falls; parents, Hermenigildo and Hanna Buena of Idaho Falls; brother, Denisee Buena of Nashville, TN; and brother, Juan Buena of Los Angeles, CA.

A Rosary will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, with a visitation to follow from 7-8 p.m.
