MARJORIE SWEARINGEN
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Marjorie Ann Mead Swearingen, 74, of Idaho Falls, died May 20, 2007, at Parkwood Meadows Assisted Living Center of natural causes.
She was born December 12, 1932, in Yuma, Arizona, to Arthur Albert Mead and Elizabeth Yarwood Mead. As a child her family moved to Afton, Wyoming, where she grew up, attended schools, and graduated from high school.
She married Merlin William Jensen, with whom she had three children, and they were later divorced. She married Wiley LaVar "Bud" Speas and he preceded her in death. They lived in Shelley and Idaho Falls. She was a homemaker and mother and also worked in various vocations over the years. She married Charles Harold Bryan Swearingen September 26, 1992, in Afton, Wyoming. He passed away September 1, 1995.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, camping and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, a daughter, Joy Jean Jensen, and two sisters, Marian Crumrine and Barbara Putnam.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at the Ucon LDS Cottonwood Ward, 2967 East 105 North, Idaho Falls, with Bishop Kevin Bodily officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in the Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
