BERNICE McGLAUN IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Marjorie Bernice Walker Smith McGlaun, 87, of Idaho Falls, died September 21, 2005, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center. She was born March 1, 1918, in Baylor County, Texas, to John Charles Walker and Effie Mae Thurman Walker. She attended schools in Seymour, Texas, then lived in Borger and Plainview, Texas, for about 55 years. She moved to Idaho Falls four years ago to be near her family. She married Hersel Andrew Smith December 7, 1935, in Seymour Texas. He preceded her in death May 18, 1968. She married T. Vard McGlaun October 4, 1972, in Borger, Texas, and he preceded her in death November 29, 1992. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church. She so enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren, Michael Dean (Lundy) Smith and Mark Darren Smith, both of Oklahoma City, OK; Stacey Smith Stevens of Plainview, TX, Rodney Dale (Deena) Teel of Idaho Falls, Ryan David Teel, Boise, John Darren (Laura) Teel, Meridian, ID and Che’ Walker Smith, Texas. She is survived by: Daughter: Marjorie Loree Smith (Dale M.) Teel, Idaho Falls; Daughter-in-law: Janet K. Smith, Plainview, TX; Sister-in-law: Tennie (Kenneth) Wishart, Seymour, TX; Sister-in-law: Katharine Smith, Seymour TX; Nephew: Robert (Nancy Jo) Boone, Archer City, TX Niece: Charlotte (Glenn Ray) Howell, Seymour, TX Niece: Janie (Daryl) Huguley, Plainview, TX 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by both husbands, a brother, a sister, sons, Harold Arvin Smith and Truman Deland Smith; step-sons, Jack Vard McGlaun and Bob M. McGlaun. The family will visit with friends Monday, September 26, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). Services will be held in Seymour, Texas, with burial in the Masonic Cemetery in Seymour. Local arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
