MARJORIE CROWTON Click here to view Marjorie's Video Tribute IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Marjorie Elaine Taylor Crowton, 84, of Idaho Falls, died January 11, 2009, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Marge was born March 30, 1924, in Kimberly, Idaho, to Elmer Clarence Taylor and Emma Dean Taylor. She attended American Falls and Blackfoot elementary schools. She graduated from Blackfoot High School and attended Utah State University in Logan. She married Robert Frederick Crowton on February 19, 1943 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They made their home in Blackfoot and moved to Idaho Falls in 1963, where they raised their three children. She worked as a Data Processing Manager with Montes Bombardier Snowmobile Corp., and later as a Dental Office Manager for Dr. Harold Hillam. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served for 22 years as Ward and Stake Librarian. She also served as a Primary Teacher and a Young Women's Leader. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi, Zonta, Literary Guild, and the Idaho Falls Music Club. She enjoyed needlework, candy making, creating porcelain dolls, painting, and playing Bridge. Survivors include: Husband: Robert Crowton, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Ann Crowton (Bruce) Mulkey, Salmon, ID Daughter: Debra Crowton (David) Sadler of Idaho Falls, ID Son: Robert T. (Synthia) Crowton, Idaho Falls, ID 6 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Donald. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2009, at the Idaho Falls LDS 28th Ward, 1165 Azalea Drive, with Bishop Roger T. Olsen officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday, January 15, 2009, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Primary Children’s Medical Center, P. O. She was a great friend and did a lot to help a kid learn about the rest of the world. She explained to me that $5 wasn't enough money to go to the races in West Yellowstone.
