JENSEN IDAHO FALLS, ID - Marion LaVonna Miller Jensen, 60, of Idaho Falls, died February 27, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born February 9, 1943, at Firth, to William Arthur Miller and Loretta Mae Andrews Miller. The family moved to Grand Island, Nebraska, where she attended Lincoln Elementary. They later moved to Shelley where she attended Shelley High School. She married Jay Mervin Simpson April 30, 1959, in Idaho Falls and they were later divorced. On September 12, 1992, she married Carl William Jensen, Sr. in Idaho Falls. She was a mother and homemaker. She was a member of Home Lodge in the Salvation Army. She enjoyed building things with her hands, like Legos; spoiling her cat; doing crafts and loved listening to the gospel. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at the Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery, with Major James Goodwin of The Salvation Army officiating. The family will meet with friends from Tuesday 1-1:45 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). Burial will be in Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
